The invention relates to organopolysiloxane compositions curable to elastomers by an addition reaction between unsaturated bonds and hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon in the presence of a Group VIII metal catalyst. The adhesion of these compositions to substrates is improved, without inhibiting their curing, by the incorporation of an organosilicon compound of general formula: (RO) c R3 - c SiO (R2 SiO) x (R'RSiO) y (R''RSiO) z SiR3 - c (OR) c where R is for example a hydrocarbon radical, R 'comprises an olefinic unsaturation and has at least 6 carbon atoms, R' 'contains an epoxy group, the value de c is from 0 to 3 and x, y and z are at least 1, z being 2 if c is 0. Use as hot-setting adhesives, coating materials not requiring a primer for electronics, etc. |
