This process is used for the electrolytic deposition, on objects made of aluminum or of an aluminum alloy, of a metallic coating, preferably solderable. The objects are first equipped, using cyanide-free technology, in two stages, with an auxiliary layer of a zinc alloy. On this auxiliary layer, a nickel layer is deposited from a nickel solution having a pH value lying in neutrality, which forms a remarkable base for the electrolytic deposition of solderable or other metallic coatings. As a brazeable metallic coating, a layer of tin-bismuth can be deposited. |
