titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE ELECTROLYTIC DEPOSITION OF A METALLIC COATING, PREFERABLY BRAZABLE, ON OBJECTS MADE OF ALUMINUM OR OF AN ALUMINUM ALLOY
abstract This process is used for the electrolytic deposition, on objects made of aluminum or of an aluminum alloy, of a metallic coating, preferably solderable. The objects are first equipped, using cyanide-free technology, in two stages, with an auxiliary layer of a zinc alloy. On this auxiliary layer, a nickel layer is deposited from a nickel solution having a pH value lying in neutrality, which forms a remarkable base for the electrolytic deposition of solderable or other metallic coatings. As a brazeable metallic coating, a layer of tin-bismuth can be deposited.
