BY THE INFLATANT AGENT BEING LESS THAN THE CONCENTRATION AT EQUILIBRIUM, ITS VITREOUS TRANSITION TEMPERATURE T IS BETWEEN - 5 AND 45 C, AS WELL AS A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF THIS LENS, BY DEFORMATION ABOVE T IN A SHAPE SUITABLE FOR SURGICAL INSERTION, COOLING BELOW T, THEN STORAGE AND SURGICAL APPLICATION AT THIS TEMPERATURE BELOW T, BEFORE RELAXATION IN THE EYE BY POST-INFLATION AND HEATING. THE INVENTION FINDS ITS PARTICULAR APPLICATION IN OPHTHALMOLOGY.
