THE BIOLOGICAL LIQUID TO BE EXAMINED IS ADDED TO A REACTION MEDIUM COMPOSED OF A BUFFER SOLUTION, A SOLUBLE SALT OF MAGNESIUM, A SOLUBLE SALT OF CALCIUM AND OF DEOXYRIBONUCLEIC ACID; THE MIXTURE SO OBTAINED IS MAINTAINED FOR A FIXED TIME PREDETERMINED AT A TEMPERATURE OF 40 TO 63C, A SOLUBLE SALT IS ADDED TO RELEASE THE PROTEINS, THEN THE MIXTURE IS DENATURED, THE INSOLUBLE SUBSTANCES ARE SEPARATED AND THE REMAINING SPECTRIQUE LIQUID IS SUBMITTED TO A MEASURED LIQUID. At 260NM COMPARED TO A REFERENCE SOLUTION THAT IS NOT INCUBATED OR WHICH ALSO CONTAINS A DNAASE INHIBITOR. THE PROCESS CAN BE USED TO DETECT IN PARTICULAR TUMORS AND METASTASES, TO MONITOR THE PROGNOSIS OF TREATMENT OF TUMORS, TO FOLLOW THE CLINICAL EVOLUTION OF PATIENTS CARRYING TREATED OR UNTREATED TUMORS AND TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS.
