The invention relates to transmission belts and danger signaling. In order to make the belt visible at night in the light of vehicle headlights, a surface of this belt is provided with substances which make it luminous in the dark when struck by a light. This surface can be the back 5 of the belt, which is then formed of a layer of flexible material containing reflective substances, in particular fluorescent, and which is preferably bonded to the body of the belt by vulcanization. Main applications: transmission belts for driving the rear wheel of two-wheeled vehicles, bicycles or motorcycles. (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) |
