THE INVENTION CONCERNS THE TREATMENT OF A THIN LAYER OF METAL OXIDE AND IN PARTICULAR OF NON-STOECHIOMETRIC OXIDE SUCH AS INDIUM OXIDE DOPED OR NOT WITH TIN, OR OF A METAL LAYER, IN VIEW OF IT TO CONFER PROPERTIES OR TO MODIFY THE PROPERTIES WHICH IT ALREADY HAS, IN GENERAL ELECTRONIC PROPERTIES AND IN PARTICULAR PROPERTIES OF EMISSIVITY AND RESISTIVITY. IT PROPOSES TO SUBJECT THE LAYER TO AN INTENSE AND BRIEF HEATING, DURING LESS THAN ONE SECOND, IN A REDUCING ATMOSPHERE OR OXIDIZING THE CONTRARY, ACCORDING TO THE DESIRED RESULT, IN PARTICULAR BY MOVING THE FLAKED SUBSTRATE COATED WITH THE LAYER TO BE TREATED IN THE LESS ONE BURNER SUPPLIES WITH REDUCING GAS OR THE OPPOSITE OXIDIZING. THE INVENTION ALLOWS BY A SIMPLE MEANS TO OBTAIN IN PARTICULAR LAYERS WITH HIGH OPTICAL AND THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS, POSSIBLY ON TEMPERED GLASS OR EVEN ON A SUBSTRATE SENSITIVE TO HEAT. |
