PROCESS FOR PREPARING A SUBSTITUTED PHENYLUREE |
abstract |
Process for the preparation of a substituted phenylurea. A suitably substituted aniline, excess urea in a molar ratio of at least 1.1 relative to the aniline, and a secondary amine are simultaneously reacted, in a non-hydroxylated organic solvent, at a temperature of 130 at 250 degrees C, with removal of ammonia as it is formed. The phenylureas obtained are used as herbicides. |
