THE INVENTION RELATES TO A DRY DEVELOPER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC IMAGES, AS WELL AS A PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING IMAGES USING THIS DEVELOPER. THE DEVELOPER CONTAINS TONER PARTICLES CONSISTING OF 100 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF A SOFT BINDER AND 1-20 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF A POLYALKYLENE WHICH CONTAINS 5 TO 60 BY WEIGHT OF A CONSTITUENT SOLUBLE IN N-HEXANE, AT THE POINT OF ' BOILING. THE KINETIC FRICTION COEFFICIENT OF TONER PARTICLES IS 0.1 TO 0.50. THE DEVELOPER ALSO CONTAINS FINE INORGANIC NON-MAGNETIC POWDERS WITH A SPECIFIC BET SURFACE, ACCORDING TO A NITROGEN ADSORPTION METHOD, BETWEEN 0.5 AND 500 MG. FIELD OF APPLICATION: REPRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS BY ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY. |
