abstract | A TRANSVERSAL EXCITATION WAVE GUIDE LASER IN THE FORM OF TWO BLOCKS OF ELECTRICALLY INSULATING MATERIAL. THE FIRST BLOCK 1 CONSISTS OF THREE PARALLEL SLOTS 3, 4, 5 SHAPED ON ONE SIDE, WHILE THE OTHER BLOCK 2 CONSTITUTES A COVER WHICH CAN BE FIXED TO THE FIRST BLOCK TO CLOSE THE SLOTS. THE TWO OUTSIDE SLOTS 4 AND 5 EACH CONTAIN A LAYER 7 OF ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL TO WHICH AN ELECTRIC CONDUCTOR 8 IS FIXED TO FORM AN ELECTRODE, WHILE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE CENTRAL SLOT 3 ARE SUCH AS ALLOWING TO CONSTITUTE THIS SLOT. LASER CAVITY CAPABLE OF SUSTAINING THE EFFECT OF A WAVEGUID LASER. |
