The present invention relates to a process for preparing an alkali silicoaluminate which can be used in dentifrice compositions. The process for neutralizing alkali silico-aluminates which can be used in dentifrice compositions is characterized in that it comprises the following steps: 1. In the first step, the alkali silico-aluminate is placed in aqueous suspension in such a way that its concentration is preferably between 100 and 300 g / l. 2. In a second step is added to the suspension thus produced an acid chosen from the group consisting of: acetic acid, benzoic acid, propionic acid, salicylic acid, sorbic acid, acid. boric, citric acid, L-ascorbic acid, formic acid, oxalic acid, the amount of acid being such that the pH of the medium is brought to a value between 5 and 7, and preferably between 5.5 and 6.5. 3. Then filter. 4. In a fourth step, the cake is dried at a temperature below 120 degrees C and preferably at 100 degrees C. |
