The invention relates to a method for forming a coating film of the highly structured and corrosion resistant type. It consists of depositing a primer on a substrate using a coating composition which comprises: a. 100 parts by weight of a mixture composed of 99.9 to 60% by weight of a vegetable oil and / or an alkyl phthalic resin, and from 0.1 to 40% by weight of tricyclodecene and / or of a derivative thereof, and b. from 1 to 500 parts by weight of at least one element selected from the group consisting of an oxyacid salt, metallic lead, its oxide and its salt, then drying said composition to form a primer layer; and applying thereto a coating composition under solvent and of the type which is radically polymerizable and oxidative polymerizable and curable at room temperature, and polymerizing this composition to form a cured coating film. Protection of tanks, bridges, and other steel structures against rust. |
