A WIDE VARIETY OF CURING, CONDENSING AND GELING AGENTS CAN BE USED TO REINFORCE AND CROSS-LINK THE POLYMER. THE COMPOSITE OBTAINED CAN BE USED AS A CATALYST FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF ASPARTIC ACID, TRYPTOPHAN AND L-PHENYLALANINE.
