abstract ATTACHMENT OF THE IMPLANTABLE DEVICE, FOR EXAMPLE, OF THE DISTAL PART 24 OF A PROBE 16 TO TISSUES OF THE BODY, FOR EXAMPLE TO THE MOTHER OR TO AN INTERVERTEBRAL TISSUE, IS OBTAINED BY MEANS OF SUCH A FIBROGEN ENZYME THAN THE THROMBIN, WHICH IS FIXED BY COVALENCE ON THE DISTAL PART OF THE PROBE. A NEEDLE IS PUSHED THROUGH THE DURAL MOTHER AND INSERTED THE DISTAL END OF THE PROBE. IMMOBILIZED THROMBIN CAUSES SUFFICIENT COAGULATION TO ATTACH THE DISTAL END OF THE PROBE TO THE MOTHER AND TO PREVENT LEAKAGE OF CEREBROSPINAL FLUID. A DRUG DELIVERY ELEMENT 14 IS PLACED IN AN APPROPRIATE POSITION TO ALLOW THE PERCUTANEOUS ADMINISTRATION OF A DRUG BY MEANS OF THE PROBE, WITH INTRODUCTION TO THE SUBARACHNOID SPACE.
