THE WATER OF THE TUBE SIDE IS VAPORIZED BY HEAT EXCHANGE WITH CONDENSATION STEAM FROM THE ENVELOPED SIDE L 'EVAPORATOR 10. THE SEA WATER PASSES THROUGH A DEAERATOR 42 AND IS INTRODUCED INTO EVAPORATOR 10 WHILE CARBON ANHYDRIDE ALSO SUPPLIES THE EVAPORATOR THROUGH A DEVICE 60, 61, 62. A CHEMICAL ADDITIVE IS ALSO CONTAINED IN THE EVAPORATOR. 'BRINE WATER TO ACHIEVE IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER MEANS A PREVENTION OF THE FORMATION OF ALKALINE CALAMINE. APPLICATION TO THE TECHNIQUE OF REDUCTION OR ELIMINATION OF CALAMINE FORMED ON EQUIPMENT PARTS, IN PARTICULAR, SEA WATER DESALINATION EQUIPMENT. |
