THE INVENTION RELATES TO AN IONOPHORESIS DEVICE. THIS DEVICE IS CHARACTERIZED IN THAT IT INCLUDES A FIRST CONDUCTIVE ELECTRODE 2 ESSENTIALLY CONSISTING OF A LAYER 4 OF A CONDUCTIVE GEL CONTAINING OR CAPABLE OF CONTAINING AN IONIC AGENT AND A LAYER 5 FORMING A CURRENT DISTRIBUTOR CONDUCTIVE ELEMENT, BOTH LAYERS 4 , 5 BEING LAMINATED AND BEING IN ONE OF THE OTHER, A SECOND CONDUCTIVE ELECTRODE 3 ESSENTIALLY CONSISTING OF A LAYER 6 OF A CONDUCTIVE GEL AND A LAYER 7 OF A CURRENT DISTRIBUTOR CONDUCTIVE ELEMENT, THESE TWO LAYERS 6, 7 BEING STRATIFIED AND IN ONE OF THE OTHER, AND A LOW-WEIGHT BATTERY 8 TO WHICH THE FIRST AND SECOND ELECTRODES 2, 3 ARE ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED SO THAT A CLOSED CIRCUIT IS ESTABLISHED WHEN THE TWO ELECTRODES ARE APPLIED TO THE SKIN FROM A PATIENT. |
