THE SELF L IS MOUNTED IN SERIES WITH A SWITCH I. A PHASE 9 COMPARATOR EMITS A VOLTAGE E PROPORTIONAL TO THE PHASE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VOLTAGE V AND THE CURRENT I CURRENT EMITTED BY THE TRANSMITTER. A CIRCUIT 11 CONVERTS THIS VOLTAGE INTO PERIODIC SIGNALS WHICH ARE EMITTED A TIME T AFTER EACH ZERO CROSSING OF CURRENT I THROUGH SELF L. AN APPLICATION IS THE EQUIPMENT OF ACTIVE SONAR ANTENNAS TRANSMITTING IN MODULATED FREQUENCY IN A WIDE BAND.
