AT THE BOW OF THE SHIP IS PLACED AN EP TRANSMITTER, RADIUSING TWO FREQUENCIES OFFSET 80HZ FROM THE FIRST. AT THE REAR OF THE VESSEL, ON EACH OTHER OF IT, ARE PLACED TWO RT AND RB RECEIVERS, WHICH RECEIVE ALL THE SIGNALS ISSUED. A RELATIVE PHASE MEASUREMENT BETWEEN THE VARIOUS SIGNALS RECEIVED ALLOWS ACCESS TO THE TAIL DIRECTION OF THE SM MARINE FLUTE. |
