PROCESS AVOIDING BREAKAGE OF THE CERAMIC COATING UNDER THE ACTION OF VANADATES AND SULFUR OXIDE. IT INCLUDES PLASMA SPRAYING ON THE SUPERALALLY SURFACE OF A BOND LAYER, FOLLOWED BY PLASMA SPRAYING OF A MIXTURE OF YTTRIUM OXIDE OR ZIRCONIUM OXIDE AND CALCIUM OXIDE, IN WHICH THE RESULTING COATED SUPERALLYING SUBSTRATE SUBJECTS TO ACCELERATED RUPTURE IN CASE THE COATING COMES IN CONTACT WITH THE FUEL OF THE TURBINE CONTAINING SULFUR OXIDE OR VANADIUM IMPURITIES AT HIGH TEMPERATURE, RESULTING IN DESTABILIZATION AND EXHAUST ZIRCONIUM OXIDE OF THE SUPERALLOYING SURFACE AND PLASMA SPRAYING OF CERIUM OXIDE OR A MIXTURE OF ZIRCONIUM OXIDE-CERIUM OXIDE CONTAINING AT LEAST 15 BY WEIGHT OF CERIUM OXIDE ON THE SUPERALLOYING SURFACE.
