abstract To obtain a better sintered permanent magnet based on oxides, a mixture is prepared providing a magnet corresponding to the composition Me Fe22 + Fe163 + O27, formula in which the reference Me indicates barium and / or strontium, optionally replaced in part by calcium and / or lead. Then, a molded product subjected to annealing and with an Fe2 + content corresponding to the stoichiometric content of Fe2 + is sintered at a temperature between 1160 C and 1250 C in an oxygen concentration atmosphere in the presence of which there is no perceptible oxygen exchange between the product and the environment. Application: manufacture of permanent magnets with magnetic anisotropy.
