COMPOUNDS DERIVED FROM ERGOLINE, PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION AND THEIR USE AS MEDICINAL PRODUCTS. THESE COMPOUNDS MEET FORMULA I: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) IN WHICH R REPRESENTS A HYDROGEN ATOM OR A METHYL GROUP; R REPRESENTS A HYDROGEN ATOM OR A HALOGEN ATOM, A METHYL OR FORMYL GROUP OR A GROUP OF FORMULA S-R OR SO-R IN WHICH R REPRESENTS AN ALKYL GROUP HAVING 1 TO 4 CARBON ATOMS OR A PHENYL GROUP; R REPRESENTS A HYDROGEN ATOM OR A METHOXY GROUP; R REPRESENTS A HYDROCARBON GROUP HAVING 1 TO 4 CARBON ATOMS, A BENZYL OR PHENETYL GROUP; R AND R EACH INDEPENDENTLY REPRESENT A CYCLOHEXYL GROUP OR A SUBSTITUTE OR INSUBSTITUTE PHENYL GROUP, OR A GROUP SOLUBLE IN ACID AND IN WATER SUCH AS (CH) N (CH) IN WHICH N IS A WHOLE NUMBER, WITH THE CONDITION THAT R AND R DO NOT REPRESENT AT THE SAME TIME THE ACID AND WATER SOLUBLE GROUP. THESE COMPOUNDS AND THEIR PHARMACEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALTS ARE USEFUL AGAINST HYPERTENSION; THEY HAVE ANTIPROLACTINIC AND ANTITUMOR ACTIVITY MAINLY AGAINST TUMORS THAT DEPEND ON PROLACTIN. |
