THIS COMPOUND CONTAINS A RADIOACTIVE ISOTOPE, OTHER THAN AN ISOTOPE OF IODINE, IN CHEMICAL COMBINATION WITH AT LEAST ONE AMINO GROUP. ITS LIPOPHILIC CHARACTER IS HIGH ENOUGH AT PH 7.6 TO ALLOW IT TO PASS BLOOD FROM A MAMMAL INTO AN ORGAN OR TISSUE OF THIS MAMMAL, CONSTITUTING A TARGET, AND SUFFICIENTLY LOW AT PH 6.6 TO PREVENT THE COMPOUND FROM RETURNING QUICKLY TARGET ORGAN OR TISSUE IN BLOOD. IT IS FIXED AT LESS THAN 90 BY PROTEINS. APPLICATION: STUDY OR CLINICAL EXAMINATION OF CERTAIN TISSUES. |
