abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for applying an inorganic coating containing titanium to a glass surface by contacting this surface at an elevated temperature with a tetraalkyl titanate. According to the invention, the tetraalkyl titanate is applied, to the surface, in admixture with a normally liquid hydrocarbon. The present invention applies in particular to the manufacture of bottles. |
