THE INVENTION RELATES TO A PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A MULTI-LAYER SHEET PANEL INCLUDING A STRUCTURAL LAYER IN THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL CONSTITUTING AN OUTER LAYER OF THE PANEL. THE PROCESS INCLUDES DEGAZING AND SOLIDARIZATION STEPS IN WHICH THE EXPOSED FACE OF THE LAYER OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL 3 IS PLACED IN CONTACT WITH A MOLDING PLATE 4. ALL OF THE ASSEMBLED LAYERS 2, 3, 4 ARE SUBJECT TO A CYCLE OF TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE DURING WHICH THE SURROUNDING PRESSURE AS WELL AS THE PRESSURE APPLIED TO THE EDGES OF THE ASSEMBLY ARE LOWER THAN ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE.
