The invention relates to a system for self-assembly of furniture or other objects. This system comprises, for example, tubular reinforcing elements T1, T2 which can be assembled together, by their ends, perpendicular to each other, using mechanical junction members such as O12. Profiles U1, U2 are respectively fixed to the flat sides of the reinforcing elements forming kinds of frames, so as to be able to engage in these profiles U1, U2, and possibly fix the ends of the bars B 11, B21, B22 therein. The invention makes it possible to mount a wide variety of objects without welding, gluing or drilling. |
