THE PRESENT INVENTION CONCERNS THE MICROBIOLOGICAL INDUSTRY, AND, MORE PRECISELY, A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF STRAINS PRODUCING AMINO ACIDS. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INVENTION, THE PROCESS FOR PREPARING AMINO ACID-PRODUCING STRAINS CONSISTS OF ASSEMBLING A FRAGMENT OF DNA FROM THE CHROMOSOME OF A DONOR MICRO-ORGANISM, CONTAINING GENES CONTROLLING THE SYNTHESIS OF A SELECTED AMIN ACID AND HAVING MUTATION DISTURBING THE NEGATIVE REGULATION OF THE SYNTHESIS OF THIS AMINE ACID TO A VECTOR DNA MOLECULE WITH FORMATION OF A HYBRID DNA MOLECULE, USING FOR THIS EFFECT A VECTOR DNA MOLECULE CAPABLE OF ENSURING AN AMPLIFICATION OF THE HYBRID DNA MOLECULE; WE TRANSFORM WITH THE HYBRID DNA MOLECULE OBTAINED THE CELLS OF A RECEIVER STRAIN, WHICH HAS A MUTATION BLOCKING THE SYNTHESIS OF THE AMINE ACID CHOSEN IN THIS STRAIN AND A MUTATION PARTIALLY BLOCKING A STEP RELATED TO THE METABOLISM OF THIS AMINE ACID, OBTAINING A STRAIN WITH HIGH PRODUCTIVITY IN SELECTED AMINO ACID. |
