abstract | THE INVENTION RELATES TO THE PREPARATION OF A SELECTIVE OXIDATION CATALYST. THE PROCESS OF THE INVENTION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STEPS: 1. HEATING A PARTICULAR CATALYST SUPPORT CONTAINING TITANIUM DIOXIDE IN AN ATMOSPHERE CONTAINING WATER VAPOR; 2. TREATMENT OF THE SUBSTRATE WITH VANADIUM OXYTRICHLORIDE IN THE FORM OF VAPOR; 3.HEATING OF THE TREATED SUBSTRATE UNTIL THE RELEASE OF HYDROGEN CHLORIDE AND COMPLETE CONVERSION OF THE DEPOSITED VANADIUM COMPOUND INTO VANADIUM PENTOXIDE; 4. REPEAT AT LEAST THREE TIMES OF STEPS 1, 2 AND 3; AND FINALLY 5.COOLING THE TREATED SUPPORT CONTAINING THE SELECTIVE OXIDIZATION CATALYST.
