titleOfInvention NOVEL PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF 2-METHOXY-4-AMINO-5-ALKYLSULFONYL BENZOIC ACIDS
abstract THE PRESENT INVENTION CONCERNS A NEW PROCESS FOR PREPARING 2-METHOXY-4-AMINO-5-ALKYLSULFONYL BENZOIC ACIDS. THE PROCESS OF THE INVENTION CONSISTS OF HYDROLYZING A 2-METHOXY-4-AMINO-5-ALKYLSULFONYL BENZONITRILE ITSELF PREPARED BY REDUCTION OF A 3-NITRO-4-ALKYLSULFONYL ANISOLE, BROMATION OF 3-AMINYLISULFONYL-4-ALKYLISULFON-4-ALKYLSULFON OBTAINED THEN TREATMENT OF 2-METHOXY-4-AMINO-5-ALKYLSULFONYL BROMOBENZENE WITH COPPER CYANIDE. THE ACIDS PREPARED ACCORDING TO THE PROCESS OF THE PRESENT INVENTION ARE USEFUL IN PARTICULAR AS INTERMEDIARIES FOR SYNTHESIS OF MEDICINAL PRODUCTS.
