ACCORDING TO THE INVENTION, THE RAW MATERIAL CONTAINING LEAD IN THE FORM OF LEAD SULPHATE AND SILVER IN THE FORM OF SULPHATE, CHLORIDE AND SULPHIDE, TO A WATERIC TREATMENT, OR AQUEOUS SALINE, AT A CONCENTRATION OF 1 TO 50GL OF CHLORIDE. OF SODIUM, OR TO A TREATMENT WITH AQUEOUS SULFURIC ACID AT A CONCENTRATION OF 1 TO 300GL OF SULFURIC ACID, OR TO A TREATMENT WITH AQUEOUS HYDROCHLORIC ACID AT A CONCENTRATION OF 1 TO 50GL OF HYDROCHLORIC ACID, THESE TREATMENTS BEING APPLIED AT TEMPERATURES OF 10 TO 90C IN A PROPORTION OF 5 TO 100 PARTS OF LIQUID PART OF SOLID, AFTER THESE TREATMENTS, THE BOIL OBTAINED BY FLOCULATION AND THICKENING IS FILTERED AND WASHED, UNTIL THE WASHING LIQUORS ARE AVAILABLE. PRACTICALLY NEUTRAL, BY OBTAINING A FILTRATION CAKE THAT IS THEN MIXED WITH AN ALKALINE OR ALKALINO-EARTH METAL CHLORIDE, PREFERABLY SODIUM CHLORIDE, IN AN APPROPRIATE PROPORTION, DETERMINED MAINLY BY THE CONTENT STARTING DUITS, TO ELIMINATE THE REACTION WHICH WOULD OCCUR DURING THE SUBSEQUENT GRILLING PHASE IF NO ALKALINE OR ALKALINE-EARTH CHLORIDES ARE ADDED, THIS GRILLING IS CARRIED OUT IN AN OXIDIZING ATMOSPHERE AT TEMPERATURES OF 200 TO 1000M 3 HOURS, AND WE OBTAIN A FINAL PRODUCT WHICH, AFTER TRITURATION, IS PERFECTLY APPROPRIATE AS A STARTING PRODUCT FOR A CLASSIC HYDROMETALLURGIC TREATMENT SIMULTANEOUSLY RECOVERING LEAD AND SILVER. |
