THE INVENTION RELATES TO THE FIELD OF TINCTORIAL CHEMISTRY. IT CONCERNS A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AZOIC DYES CONTAINING COPPER OF FORMULA: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) (IN WHICH R REPRESENTS H, AN ACETYL, BENZOYL OR PHENYL REMAINDER WHICH IS POSSIBLE SUBSTITUTED, N IS EQUAL TO 1 OR 2 AND X IS THE BRIDGE AZO ETOU AZOXY) BY TREATMENT, WITH COPPER LOWING AGENTS, FOR EXAMPLE OF COMPOUNDS OBTAINED FROM 5-NITRO-2-AMINO-ANISOLE BY DIAZOTATION AND COPULATION ON A HYDROXYNAPHTALENESULFONIC ACID, THEN REDUCTION OF THE COMPOUND OBTAINED. THE PROCESS OF THE INVENTION ALLOWS VERY GOOD RETURNS TO BE OBTAINED. |
