titleOfInvention NOVEL ANOREXIGENOUS SUBSTANCE AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
abstract The present invention relates to a novel anorectic substance. This substance is produced by a process characterized in that human or animal serum is filtered through a membrane filter allowing substances less than 50,000 dalton to pass, in that the filtrate is concentrated to dryness, in that 'it is dissolved in water, in that the separation is carried out on a gel having a pore volume less than 50,000, in that it is fractionated by eluting with a neutral aqueous solution containing at least 0.1 % salt, in that the biologically active fractions are brought to dryness, in that they are dissolved in water, in that they continue to be separated on a gel with an empty volume of less than 50,000, in that they are fractionated by eluting with distilled water, and in that the biologically active fractions are lyophilized. Application as a medicine.
