The invention relates to a cleaning agent for dentinal surfaces, in particular when treating teeth. According to the invention, its active constituents are an inverted soap (quaternary ammonium compounds) and an ampholytic tenside and an agent forming a complex of the aminocarboxylic acid type; the ampholytic tenside is preferably of the dicarboxylated imidazoline type; the accompanying drawing shows the results obtained with a solution comprising 0.30 g of an amphoteric agent, 0.10 g of benzalkonium chloride, 0.20 g of disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, 1.00 g of buffer solution at pH 7.3, and distilled water to 100 ml. The invention applies in particular to dentistry. |
