abstract | THE INVENTION RELATES TO A FROZEN FOOD PRODUCT. THIS IS A FROZEN FOOD PRODUCT IN WHICH THAWING WATER CAN EASILY ENTER, CONSISTS OF A FROZEN FOOD OR A FROZEN MIX OF FOOD MATERIALS WITH A MOISTURE CONTENT LOWER THAN NORMAL OR PRESENT. THE MIXTURE IN THE STATE READY FOR CONSUMPTION. THE PRODUCT CONTAINS BOTH FROZEN AND NON-FROZEN WATER AND A QUANTITY OF A WATER SOLUBLE SALT ENOUGH TO KEEP NON-FROZEN WATER IN THE PRODUCT. ANY INDIVIDUAL SALT MAY BE PRESENT IN UP TO 4 OF THE WEIGHT OF THE FROZEN PRODUCT, BUT THE TOTAL SALT CONTENT WHEN THERE IS MORE THAN ONE SALT PRESENT MUST NOT EXCEED 10 OF THE FROZEN PRODUCT.
