The invention relates to a process for the durable finishing of a textile support which consists in applying an aqueous dispersion or emulsion of a polyurethane with an extended chain having side carboxyl groups, of a tertiary amine, of a thermosetting aminoplast resin, a catalyst for curing the aminoplast resin, and an anionic or nonionic surfactant, to dry and cure the treated material at an elevated temperature. |
