Printed polyester film. It comprises a biaxially oriented polyester film containing from 2 to 10% by weight of a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 5,000 to 200,000, this film being composed of a polyester in which at least 80% by weight of the total patterns consist of an ethylene glycol terephthalate pattern, and a printed layer formed of a printing ink containing a cellulose derivative as a binder, this printed layer being applied to at least part of the surface of the film .
