abstract The present invention relates to a molding composition and molded articles derived therefrom. This molding composition is based on polyethylene terephthalate, further contains thermally stable reinforcing fibers, such as glass fibers, mica and from about 5 to about 40% by weight of a butylene terephthalate copolymer. tetramethylene oxide; in a preferred embodiment, the composition also contains amorphous and thermally stable resins, for example polymethyl methacrylate. These compositions simultaneously exhibit good physical properties and good resistance to thermal deformation.
