| abstract | This process for treating a fluid formed from water and sludge consists of separating, by a first centrifuging, on the one hand the wastewater and, on the other hand, the sludge formed from organic compounds loaded with heavy metals and the sludge. formed of mineral compounds denser than the previous ones, to subject to a beam of ionizing radiation (an electron beam for example) the sludge formed of organic compounds charged with heavy so as to be able to transform them, at least partially, into mineral compounds of high density, and less toxic, the latter then being separated by a second centrifuging. An exemplary embodiment of a device allowing the implementation of this method is given. Application: treatment of water and sludge allowing the domestic use of clarified and treated water and the agricultural and industrial use of residual organic and mineral sludge. |
