The invention relates to the industry of hygiene and maintenance products. It relates to a fabric conditioning composition which comprises, in an effective amount, a fabric softening agent which may be, for example, a quaternary salt, an alkylated or acylated diamine, an oxide of phosphine or of tertiary amine, an alcohol or ethoxylated alkylphenol, a soap or a sulphate or sulphonate surfactant, as well as a deodorant amount of a deodorant perfume, the composition having an odor reduction index of 0.50 to 3.5 such as can be measured by the modified Whitehouse and Carter test. This composition is preferred for making underwear deodorant in favor of a treatment carried out during the laundry. |
