titleOfInvention | FOOD PRODUCTS CONTAINING AN ANTIBIOTIC, INTENDED FOR ANIMALS |
abstract | The invention relates to food products for animals, or premixes to be added to animal food products. In addition to the usual carriers, which are for example vegetable flour or mineral salts, these food products and additives contain avilamycin which is an antibiotic from the orthosomycin group, prepared by aerobic cultivation of Streptomyces viridochromogenes. These products can be used in the breeding of pigs and poultry, but also calves and ruminants. They cause an increase in the growth rate of animals and in specific food consumption. |
