The subject of the invention is a lubricating composition for polymers of vinyl chloride. It consists of a combination of a polar lubricant, such as an oxidized polyethylene wax, and an oxide or hydroxide of tin, antimony or elements of groups IIa, IIIa and IVb of the Classification Periodic. This composition facilitates the processing of rigid vinyl chloride polymers while imparting a surprisingly high degree of thermal stability to them. |
