titleOfInvention | DISPERSIONS OF IONOMERS CONTAINING ELECTROLYTES, STABLE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, AND PROCESS FOR PREPARATION |
abstract | The invention relates to aqueous dispersions or solutions of ionomeric polyurethanes which are stable at room temperature and to a process for their preparation. The emulsions according to the invention contain: a. polyoxyethylene-polyether chains in the polyurethane with a content of oxyethylene units of 1.2 to 50% by weight, relative to the solids of the polyurethane, b. ionic groups incorporated into the polyurethane in an amount of 5 to 250 milliequivalents per 100 g of solids of the polyurethane, and c. water-soluble electrolytes dissolved in water at a content of 0.5 to 100% by weight, based on the solids of the polyurethane. |
