titleOfInvention DISPERSIONS OF IONOMERS CONTAINING ELECTROLYTES, STABLE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, AND PROCESS FOR PREPARATION
abstract The invention relates to aqueous dispersions or solutions of ionomeric polyurethanes which are stable at room temperature and to a process for their preparation. The emulsions according to the invention contain: a. polyoxyethylene-polyether chains in the polyurethane with a content of oxyethylene units of 1.2 to 50% by weight, relative to the solids of the polyurethane, b. ionic groups incorporated into the polyurethane in an amount of 5 to 250 milliequivalents per 100 g of solids of the polyurethane, and c. water-soluble electrolytes dissolved in water at a content of 0.5 to 100% by weight, based on the solids of the polyurethane.
