titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF WOOD-PLASTIC COPOLYMERS AND PRODUCTS OBTAINED
abstract The invention relates to the preparation of a wood-plastic copolymer. The process involves reacting at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer with a lignocellulosic material in the presence of a peroxide catalyst dissolved in water, at a temperature above the decomposition temperature of the compound. catalyst, so that the polymerization of the monomer and its grafting onto the lignocellulosic material are caused. The lignocellulosic fibers of wood and of wood waste provide reinforcement in the copolymer obtained.
