abstract | The invention relates to novel heterocyclic substituted 4-amino-1,2,4-triazine-5ones and their salts. These compounds are obtained by a process which consists in reacting diazabutadienes with hydrazine derivatives, where appropriate in the presence of a diluent and in the possible presence of an acid acceptor. The compounds of the invention are endowed with herbicidal activity. They are very advantageous to use, especially for the selective weeding of cereal and cotton crops. |
