abstract Process of splitting a racemate. According to the process of the invention, the D, LN-benzyloxycarbonyl-2- (phydroxyphenyl) -glycine is treated using an actinomycete belonging to the genus Streptomyces and capable of carrying out the asymmetric doubling of this racemate, and isolated then from the reaction mixture the DN-benzyloxycarbonyl-2- (p-hydroxyphenyl) -glycine and the Lp-hydroxyphenylglycine thus obtained. Application to the pharmaceutical industry.
