abstract	These tropinones correspond to formula I and they are prepared as follows: in a first phase, one treats with water, at a pH of 0 to 3, 2,5-dialkoxy-tetrahydrofurans of formula II and in a second phase, the treatment mixture thus obtained is reacted at a pH of 4 to 6 with a primary amine of formula III and with acetonedicarboxylic acid. They are useful starting substances for the manufacture of dyes, plant protection agents and in particular medicaments, having for example a spasmolytic action.
