titleOfInvention | OPTICAL DEDOUBEMENT PROCESS OF DL-LYSINE DERIVATIVES |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for the optical resolution of DL-lysine derivatives. An aqueous solution of a lower alkyl ester of DL-lysine or its acid addition salts is contacted with a non-specific protease produced by bacteria belonging to the genus Streptomyces, at a weakly acidic pH and at a temperature not exceeding 60 degrees C until 60 to 90% by weight of the L-lysine ester or its acid addition salts have taken part in the reaction, then the L-lysine is collected in a conventional manner or its acid salts. The protease can be immobilized in advance on an insoluble support. |
