titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF AMIDOSULPHONIC ACID
abstract Disclosed is a process for the preparation of amidosulfonic acid comprising the reaction of sulfur trioxide with ammonia to give molten reaction products. According to this process, these molten reaction products are directly reacted with mineral acids. It is advantageous to cool the molten reaction products to a temperature above their solidification point before reacting them with the mineral acids. The process of the invention makes it possible to obtain, with a high yield, very pure amidosulfonic acid.
