titleOfInvention WATER SOLUBLE POLYESTER-IMID RESINS
abstract A water-soluble thermosetting polyester-polyimide prepolymer composition formed by the action of ammonia or an amine on an initial polyester-polyimide prepolymer, containing 5 to 60% polyimide. The initial prepolymer has a molecular weight of 600 to 1300 and an OH / COOH ratio of 1.8 to 2.5. The alcohol of the polyester includes at least one triol. This composition is particularly useful for enamelling electrical wires.
