A typical cpd. 1-methoxy-3-methylhexa-1,3-dien-5-yne, was prepd. by reaction of 1,1-dimethoxy-3-methyl (II)-3-phenylsulphonyl-6-chlorohex-5-ene with potassamide in liquid ammonia. |
