titleOfInvention ANIONIC POLYMERIZATION INITIATORS BASED ON ALKALINE AMIDIDES AND ANIONIC POLYMERIZATION PROCESS USING THEM
abstract Anionic polymerisation initiators comprise the association, in an aprotic solvent, of an alkali amide and at the salt of the same alkali metal of >=1 hydroxy cpd. Used for the (co)polymerisation of vinyl, heterocyclic and diene monomers which polymerise anionically by the opening of aa ethylenic double bond or of a heterocycle in the presence of a solvent, e.g. styrene, methyl methacrylate etc. The initiators are efficient and are satisfactory for industrial purposes.
