titleOfInvention DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS FOR LARGE WASHES
abstract The compsn. comprises (a) 15-20% of a molecular sieve zeolite type A, X, Y or L, mordenite or erionite contg. 1.5-36% water with Na, K, Li, NH4 or H cations and having a particle size of 0.5-12 u; (b) 15-20% of an alkali metal salt of a carboxymethy6-oxysuccinate or mixtures of these contg. a little carboxymethyl-oxysuccinic acid; (c) 5-25% of a (10-16C alkyl) benzenesulphonate; (d) 3-18% of sodium silicate of Na2O/SiO2 ratio of 1:1 to 1:3.2; and (e) 0.3-3% of an organic anti-redeposition agent from carboxymethylcellulose, PVA or acetate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, alkyl or hydroxyalkyl cellulose. The compsn. does not contain phosphorus cpds. which are said to have an adverse effect on environmental water. The carboxymethyloxysuccinate on the above gives better cleaning than a similar compsn. using pentasodium tripolyphosphate instead of this.
